As part of the irish blog awards 2011, we (the photowalkie crowd) organised a walk in Belfast. @Davymac & @icedcoffee organised the events, which made up possibly the most organised walk we've been on! We took in a guided tour of City Hall, a busride thru the city & access to the signature project & old Harland and Wolff drawing offices down in the 'new' titanic quarter. This shot was taken on the drawing office part of the tour (led by the self proclaimed/admitted king of all Titanoracs)The building in a poor state of repair but there are plans afoot to refurbish the entire as part of the 'Titanic experience'. More shots in days to come here and over on pix.ie

  • You managed to portray the grandeur the building once must have had... Such a pity to see a building like that go to waste, hopefully they'll find some backing investors soon!

And also a big heads up to the coolest wee photowalker :)

  • Nice one Keith. Like the strong diagonals in it which gives an idea of the former grandeur of the place. Will be lovely to go back and see it restored.

  • Glory still there if one has an eye for it. Love the play of light and shadow
